57. A person who forges or fraudulently alters —
any entry or endorsement in the register; or
any other document made by, under or by virtue of this Part, or any entry or endorsement in or on such other document made by, under or by virtue of this Part, commits an offence and is liable —
on summary conviction, to a fine of five thousand dollars and to imprisonment for eighteen months; or imprisonment for three years.
