34. (1) Where a dispensation granted under section 32 has taken effect, the ship shall fly only the colours lawfully borne by ships registered in the country named in the declaration made under section 32(4)(b).
Without prejudice to section 32(3), where a ship flies colours in contravention of subsection (1) the registered owner commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of ten thousand dollars. Interim Registration in the Course of Transfer of Ownership
