Discharging cannon in town

Every person other than a person acting in obedience to lawful authority who discharges any cannon or other firearm of greater calibre than a common fowlingpiece within five hundred yards of any dwelling-house within any town, to the annoyance of any inhabitant thereof, and every person who, after being warned of the annoyance by an inhabitant, discharges any such firearms, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of thirty dollars.
