Discharge and variation

A receiver, the Director of Public Prosecutions and any person affected by an order made under section 52 may apply to the court to vary or discharge the order.
On an application under this section the court may discharge or vary the order.
In the case of an orde r under section 52 —
if the condition in section 44 which was satisfied was that proceedings were started or an application was made, the court shall discharge the order on the conclusion of the pr oceedings or of the application; and
if the condition which was satisfied was that an investigation was started or an application was to be made, the court shall discharge the order if within a reasonable time proceedings for the offence are not starte d or the application is not made.
