Power to arrest police officers

A police officer may arrest without warrant a police officer of a rank lower who is accused of an offence against discipline under this Act.
A police officer, other than a commanding officer, effecting an arrest under subsection (1), shall forthwith bring the accused person before the commanding officer or, in the absence of the commanding officer, before the most senior officer available.
