Suspension or interdiction of police officers

A police officer suspended or interdicted under the terms of that police officer's contract of service or under section 95 shall not by reason alone of such suspension or interdiction cease to be a police officer.
Where a police officer is suspended or interdicted the powers, privileges and benefits vested in that person as a police officer shall be in abeyance during the period of that person's suspension or interdiction but the police officer shall remain subject to the same responsibilities, discipline and penalties and to the same authority as if the police officer had not been suspended or interdicted.
