Offences against discipline

A police officer who commits an offence against discipline as may be prescribed under this Act shall be liable to such penalty or punishment as may be prescribed.
Notwithstanding subsection (1) —
nothing in this section shall be construed to exempt a police officer from being proceeded against for an offence by any other process of law; and
a police officer shall not be punished twice for the same offence.
