Unlawful deductions by employer

An employer who deducts from the salary, wage or other remuneration of an employee more than the amount which that employer is entitled to deduct in respect of any person under section 7 or 8 commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of thirty thousand dollars, and on conviction on indictment to a fine of forty thousand dollars.
