Neither the Department nor its employees shall be liable in damages for anything done or omitted in the discharge or purported discharge of their respective functions, responsibilities, powers or duties under this Law unless it is shown that the act or omission was in bad faith.
The Department shall indemnify its staff and other authorised personnel against all claims, damages, costs, charges or expenses incurred by them in the discharge or purported discharge of their functions, responsibilities, powers and duties under this Law, except claims, damages, costs, charges or expenses caused by their bad faith.
