Commanding Officer to ensure the Commissioner of Police is aware of the possibility that a criminal offence has been committed

If the Commanding Officer becomes aware of an allegation or circumstances within subsection (2), the Commanding Officer shall as soon as is reasonably practicable ensure that the Commissioner of Police is advised of the matter.
An allegation is, or circumstances are, within this subsection if it or they would indicate to a reasonable person that a civil offence has or may have been committed by a member of the Regiment.
