Constitution of youth courts

3. (1) Courts of summary jurisdiction —
constituted in accordance with subsection (2); and
sitting for the purposes of exercising any jurisdiction conferred on youth courts by or under this Act, shall be known as youth courts.
Youth courts shall be presided over by —
a magistrate sitting alone;
a magistrate sitting with two justices of the peace, at least one of the justices being of the opposite sex to the magistrate; or
three justices of the peace, at least one of whom is a woman.
