Reconsideration, etc: variation of prison term

Where —
a court varies a confiscation order under section 30 , 31 , 32 , 38 or 41 ;
the effect of the variation is to vary the maximum period of imprisonment applicable in relation to the order; and
the result is that the maximum period is less than the term of imprisonment or detention fixed in respect of the order under section 30 of the Penal Code (2024 Revision) , the court shall fix a reduced term of imprisonment or detention in respect of the confis cation order in place of the term previously fixed.

the court may amend the term of imprisonment or detention fixed in respect of the confiscation order under section 30 of the Penal Code (2024 Revision) .
Where the amount due under the confiscation order is increased by interest payable under section 21 , the Director of Public Prosecutions may apply to the court to increase the term of imprisonment or detention in default. Restraint orders
