No prosecution for an offence under section 58 shall be begun except within six months after the offence is committed, save that where a person leaves the Islands within six months of committing such offence, the prosecution may be begun within six months from the date when such person returns to the Islands after so leaving them.
No person shall be prosecuted for an offence under section 58 without the written consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
