Termination of appointment of Registrar

The appointment of the Registrar shall be terminated where the Registrar —
becomes of unsound mind or becomes permanently unable to perform the Registrar's duties by reason of ill health;
becomes bankrupt or compounds with or suspends payment to creditors;
acts in a manner that brings the office of the Registrar into disrepute;
is a candidate for or holds office in a political party or is nominated for election to the Parliament;
does not declare a conflict of interest where so required under this Act; or
fails to substantially carry out the duties conferred or imposed by this Act.
The termination of appointment of the Registrar shall be in accordance with the Public Service Management Act (2018 Revision).
