Giving prisoner in charge of the jury

When a full jury have been sworn, the Clerk shall call the prisoner to the bar and, addressing the members of the jury, shall state the substance of the offences charged in the indictment and shall say "to this indictment the prisoner has pleaded not guilty and it is your charge to say, having heard the evidence, whether the prisoner be guilty or not guilty".
