Licence required for provision of water supply or wastewater services

A person shall not provide water supply or wastewater services to third parties unless that person has been issued with a licence by the Office.
A person who performs an activity that requires a licence, without being in possession of a licence issued by the Office to do so, commits an offence and is liable —
on summary conviction to a fine of ten thousand dollars; or
on conviction on indictment to a fine of twenty thousand dollars, and, if the offence is a continuing one, to a fine of one thousand dollars for every day or part of a day during which the offence has continued.
