Holding of referendum

A referendum shall be held on the matter specified in section 4(1) with each elector being entitled to cast one vote.
The Cabinet shall by notice, published in the Gazette, in at least one newspaper circulating in the Islands and on Government websites, appoint a day for the holding of the referendum, being a day not earlier than the thirtieth day after the date of the publication of the notice.
