The court, before making an occupation order, other than an interim occupation order, shall direct that notice be given to any person having an interest in the property which would be affected by the order.
The person referred to in subsection (1) shall, upon being notified pursuant to that subsection, be entitled to appear and be heard in the matter of the application for the occupation order as a party to that application.
