Printer to keep copy of paper, etc.

A person who prints any paper shall carefully keep one copy thereof, on which he shall write or cause to be written or printed in legible characters, the name and address of the person who engaged him to print the same. Such printer shall so keep such copy for one year after the printing thereof and shall produce the same forthwith to any Magistrate on being served within such year with a notice in writing under the hand and seal of such Magistrate requiring him so to do.
Whoever fails to comply with subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of two hundred dollars and to imprisonment for three months.
