Duties of Postmaster General

The Postmaster General is responsible for —
the management, supervision and control of the Post Office;
the administration and implementation of this Act;
the collection of Post Office revenue and accounting for the same; and
the care of public and other property under Post Office control, but without having to account for the loss thereof, unless loss is due to that Postmaster General's own personal default.
