Arrest elsewhere than at a police station

67. (1) Where a person is, at any place other than a police station —
arrested by a police officer for an offence; or
taken into custody by a police officer after being arrested for an offence by a person other than a police officer, the person shall be taken by a police officer to a police station as soon as practicable after the arrest.
Nothing in this section prevents a police officer delaying taking a person to a police station if the presence of the person at a place, other than a police station, is necessary in order to carry out such investigations as it is reasonable to carry out immediately.
Where there is any delay the reasons for the delay shall be recorded when the person first arrives at the police station.

any provision of the Immigration (Transition) Act (2021 Revision); or
any provision of the Terrorism Act (2018 Revision).
