The Governor may make regulations for carrying this Law into effect, and, in particular, prescribe —
a model exploration licence and a model petroleum agreement;
the appointment, duties, privileges and powers of officers to enforce this Law including an exploration licence and any petroleum agreement issued or entered into thereunder;
fees for the issue of exploration licences and making petroleum agreements;
for the establishment of safety areas around petroleum reserve installations erected on the sea bed;
for the prevention of fires in areas where oil extraction is being carried on;
for the safety, health, working conditions and welfare of persons engaged in oil extraction; and
amendments to the Schedule.
Whoever contravenes any regulation made under paragraphs (d), (e) and (f) of subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine of five thousand dollars and to imprisonment for two years.
