Designation of beneficiary

Each participant shall be given the opportunity to designate a beneficiary or beneficiaries who shall be entitled to receive benefits pursuant to this Law in the event of the participant's death.
A participant shall be permitted to change a beneficiary designated under subsection (1) at any time prior to his death.
In the event that a participant dies without designating a beneficiary, or if no designated beneficiary survives the participant, any benefit that would have been payable to the participant's designated beneficiary under this Law shall be paid to the participant's estate.
