Revocation of a prospecting right

In the case of any contravention of this Law or of the prospecting right by the holder of a prospecting right, the Governor may call upon the holder of such right to show cause within a time specified why his right should not be revoked; and should he fail to comply with such order within the time specified or should the cause shown be inadequate in the opinion of the Governor, the Governor may, by notice in the Gazette (a copy of which notice shall be forwarded to the last known address of the holder), summarily revoke such right and thereupon all privileges and rights conferred thereby or enjoyed thereunder shall, as from the date specified in the notice of such revocation, cease:
always that such revocation shall not in any way affect the liability of any person in respect of the breach of this Law committed by him before such revocation.
