Powers of the Court

The Court has jurisdiction in all matters pertaining to this Act and, subject to the provisions thereof, has power to pronounce and enforce decrees of —
nullity of marriage, or civil partnerships;
presumption of the death of a spouse, or civil partner;
dissolution of marriage, or civil partnerships;
judicial separation;
reversal of decrees of judicial separation; and
matters ancillary thereto,
and has, in addition, all the powers of the Court of Chancery in England necessary to enable it to exercise the jurisdiction conferred upon it by this Act.
