Marriage Officer’s duties immediately after registration

Immediately after registration the Marriage Officer shall separate the duplicate register from the Marriage Register Book and forthwith deliver or cause to be delivered such duplicate register to the Registrar General, and shall deliver a certified copy of the register to one of the parties to the marriage, without fee.
