Authority for marriage

Marriage may be solemnised under the authority —
of a Civil Registrar’s certificate or Civil Registrars’ certificates;
of a Marriage Officer’s certificate or Marriage Officers’ certificates;
of a licence from the Governor; or
of a special licence from the Governor,
and without any such authority in the cases specially provided for in section 37.
