Court or counsel to take no fee

No fee, reward, emolument or gratuity shall be demanded, taken or received by any officer of such Court for any thing done in such Court under this Law; and, upon the presenting of any such petition, the Judge may assign counsel, and appoint an attorney-at-law to advise and carry on such petition on the behalf of such society, who are hereby required to do their duties therein without fee or reward.
