A person guilty of an offence under this Act shall be liable to a fine of $500,000 or to imprisonment for a term of 4 years or to both and any specimen in respect of which the offence was committed shall be forfeited to the Crown.
If a person prosecuted for an offence under this Act is acquitted, the Court may nonetheless order any specimen concerned to be forfeited to the Crown.
A specimen forfeited under this section shall be disposed of in such manner as the Management Authority may direct.
