Notice of voluntary winding up

Within twenty - eight days of the commencement of a voluntary winding up, the liquidator or, in the absence of any liquidator, the directors shall —
file notice of the winding up with the Registrar;
file the liquidator ’ s consent to act with the Registrar;
file the director ’ s declaration of solvency with the Registrar (if the supervision of the court is not sought);
in the case of a company carrying on a regulated business, serve notice of the winding up upon the Authority; and
publish notice of the winding up in the Gazette.
A director or liquidator who fails to comply with this section commits an offence and is liable to a fine of ten thousand dollars.
