Declaration of developer and benefits

The Cabinet may by Order declare a person to be a developer for the purpose of developing and operating a special economic zone under this Law.
An Order made under subsection (1) shall specify —
the name of the special economic zone which the developer is authorised to develop and operate;
any conditions imposed on the developer; and
any benefits other than those specified in the relevant Schedules.
A developer and its subsidiaries shall be entitled to the benefits specified in the relevant Schedules to this Law, relating to the special economic zone specified in the Order.
Neither a developer nor any of its subsidiaries shall be deemed to be a public authority, a statutory body or authority, or a body or entity of Government, for any purposes.
