Delivery of notices or documents

37. (1) Except as otherwise provided, a notice or document required or authorised to be given or delivered under this Part may be given or delivered personally or by registered mail.
Evidence that a notice or document required or authorised to be given or delivered to a person under this section was sent by registered mail to the person at the person’s last known place of abode or business address appearing on a ticket, certificate of service or other document in the court is sufficient evidence that the notice or document was given or delivered to that person, unless the contrary is proved.
