Destruction of animals

A Medical Officer of Health, in consultation with the Chief Veterinary Officer, may order the destruction of any animals which that person has reason to believe are likely to be agents in the transmission of an infectious disease and may dispose of the carcass of any animal so destroyed in such manner as that person may think proper.
