Chief Medical Officer may take proceedings in Grand Court for abatement of statutory nuisance

14. If, in the case of any statutory nuisance, the Chief Medical Officer is of the opinion that proceedings in the Court would afford an inadequate remedy that person may take proceedings in the Grand Court for the purpose of securing the abatement or prohibition of that nuisance or of obtaining a closing order and such proceedings shall be maintainable notwithstanding that that person has suffered no damage from the nuisance.
