The Chief Executive Officer may permit a Cayman Islands ship to implement security measures other than those required by the Safety Convention and Part A of the ISPS Code but only where the Chief Executive Officer is satisfied that those security measures are at least as effective in every respect as those prescribed by the Safety Convention and Part A of the ISPS Code.
