Notwithstanding sections 436 and 437, where a person of any nationality does outside the Islands any act which, if done in the Islands, would constitute an offence falling within subsection (2) below, the person's act shall constitute that offence if it is done in connection with an offence under section 407, 408, 409 or 410 committed or attempted by that person.
The offences falling within this subsection are murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, culpable homicide and assault.
It is an offence for any person in the Islands to induce or assist the commission outside the Islands of any act which —
would, but for subsection (2) of section 407, be an offence under that section;
would, but for subsection (5) of section 409, be an offence under that section;
would, but for subsection (6) of section 410, be an offence under that section; or
would, but for subsection (4) of section 411, be an offence under that section.
A person who commits an offence under subsection (3) is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for life.
