Service in a legal or judicial department

If the Council is satisfied that a person in a legal or judicial department of the public service is performing duties that are mainly legal in nature, the Council may certify that time spent by a person in the legal or judicial department performing those duties is equivalent to a similar time spent in the service of an attorney-at-law under articles of clerkship.
