Revocation of Residency Certificate for Persons of Independent Means

37. The holder of a Residency Certificate for Persons of Independent Means or the holder of a Residency Certificate for Retirees acquired under the Immigration Law, 2003 [Law 34 of 2003] may, at the discretion of the Chief Immigration Officer, have the right to reside in the Islands revoked if —
he fails to maintain his financial standing stipulated in section 34;
he was not physically present in the Islands for a minimum of thirty days in aggregate in any calendar year; or
in the opinion of the Chief Immigration Officer, any of the matters referred to in section 38(1)(a) to (j) applies to the holder.
