Renewal of certificate

A certificate issued for a fixed period may be renewed from time to time in accordance with this section.
An application for renewal shall be made in writing to the Commission and accompanied by the prescribed fee.
If the Commission is satisfied that the applicant continues to meet the requirements for the issue of a certificate, the Commission shall renew the certificate.
If an application for the renewal of a certificate has been made before the expiry of the certificate but has not been dealt with by the Commission when the certificate is due to expire, the certificate continues in force until the application for renewal is dealt with and any renewal in such a case shall be taken to have commenced from the day when the certificate would have expired but for the renewal.
