General power to regulate own procedures

44. (1) Subject to section 45, an Ethics Committee may regulate its own procedures for deciding issues that come before it under Part 2.
The Ethics Committee shall ensure that all decisions are made as expeditiously as possible, having regard to —
the relevant directive-maker’s best interest; and
the duty of public officials under section 19 of the Constitution.
