A proxy may renounce that proxy's appointment by notice —
to the directive-maker; or
if the directive-maker is mentally incompetent, to the doctor responsible for treating the directive-maker.
Where more than one proxy was appointed the renouncing proxy shall also give the notice to the other proxies.
