Proxy's confidentiality duty

A proxy shall keep details of the directive-maker's health care, any advice obtained and the making of proxy decisions confidential.

Subsection (1) shall not apply to a disclosure by a proxy —

to a registered practitioner who needs to be told about the decisions;

to the directive-maker's nearest relative; or

required by law or under a Court order.
