Interpretation

In this Act —
means the person appointed under section 7 and includes an assistant bailiff;
means the chief officer of the judicial administration appointed under section 2 of the Public Management and Finance Act (2026 Revision);
means the person appointed under section 7;
means the Constitution set out in Schedule 2 to the Cayman Islands Constitution Order 2009 [UKSI 2009 No. 1379], as amended by the Cayman Islands Constitution (Amendment) Order 2016 [UKSI 2016 No. 780] and the Cayman Islands Constitution (Amendment) Order 2020 [UKSI 2020 No. 1283];
means the Grand Court and includes a Judge of that Court;
means a Judge of the Court;
mean Rules of Court made under section 19; and
means the body responsible for making Rules under section 19.
