A person shall not subject or threaten to subject another person to any detriment —
on the ground that the second mentioned-person —
has made, or proposes to make, a complaint under this Law;
has furnished or proposes to furnish, any information, or has produced, or proposes to produce, any document to a person exercising or performing any power or function under this Law;
proposes to provide evidence or testimony as a witness; or
has made a good faith allegation that a person has committed an act of discrimination in contravention of this Law; or
on the ground that the first-mentioned person believes that the second-mentioned person has done, or proposes to do, an act or thing referred to in paragraph (a)(i) to (iv).
A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of five thousand dollars.
