Granting access to exempt information

Notwithstanding that a matter falls within sections 18, 20(1)(b) and (d), 21, 22, 23 and 24, access shall be granted if such access would nevertheless be in the public interest.
Public interest shall be defined in regulations made under this Act.
Notwithstanding that a record or part thereof is exempt from disclosure, access shall be granted to personal information if disclosure would be required under the Data Protection Act, 2017 [Law 33 of 2017].
