Category B offence

Any offence with which a person is charged under sections 3(2), 4(2), 5(2), 8, 12(3), 15(5), 18(6), 18(7), 18(9) and 18(10) is triable as a Category B offence.
For the purposes of this section — “Category B offence” has the meaning assigned to it by section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Code (2021 Revision).
