Grant of application

Where the Director is satisfied that an applicant fulfils the prescribed criteria for eligibility for financial assistance, the Director shall grant the application.
Where the Director grants the application, the Director shall inform the applicant in writing of —
the amount of the financial assistance;
the duration of the financial assistance;
the conditions attached to the financial assistance;
the procedure relating to payments in respect of the financial assistance; and
the applicant's right to apply for a reconsideration of a decision in relation to the issuance of the financial assistance.
Notwithstanding section 11(1), where the Director considers it necessary to issue financial assistance without delay, the Director may issue the financial assistance for a period not exceeding two months pending the determination of an application.
