This Law binds the Crown.

Notwithstanding subsection (1), nothing in this Law shall require a ministry or portfolio to process an electronic record, but either the Minister or the appropriate minister or official member may, by notice published in the Gazette, indicate that a ministry or portfolio will process electronic records relating to such matters as may be specified in the notice.

Until a notice under subsection (2) is published, no person dealing with such ministry or portfolio shall be entitled, by means of an electronic record, to satisfy a requirement to process a record.
