Duties in respect of assessment of special educational needs

It is the duty of the responsible authority in relation to a school to ensure that there is maintained and implemented for that establishment a procedure for the assessment and identification of students who have special educational needs as outlined in the regulations.
The Cabinet may make regulations for the assessment of any special needs of students educated otherwise than at a school.
