An authorised officer who has attained the age of fifty-five years, shall be retired without prejudice and may, in special circumstances and for such temporary periods, be accepted for such service as may be fixed by contract.
An authorised officer who has served for twenty-one years in the Cadet Corps may retire on pension without prejudice to that authorised officer being accepted for such further period or periods of service as may be fixed by contract.
Repealed by s.18(b) of the Cadet Corps (Amendment) (No.2) Act, 2018 [Law 40 of 2018].
The Public Service Pensions Act (2021 Revision) shall, subject to this Act, apply to an authorised officer, other than a volunteer, where that authorised officer is employed upon contractual terms applicable to the individual officer which provide for or specifically exclude pension rights.
